Amazon Prime members can receive 20¢ per gallon in fuel savings on eligible Fridays at participating stations.
Amazon Prime members are getting another perk at the pump.
Beginning Friday, October 2, 2026, eligible Prime members in the United States can save a total of 20 cents per gallon every Friday at participating bp, Amoco, ampm and Thorntons locations through January 29, 2027.
And unlike a random coupon code you have to hunt down each week, the program works through bp’s earnify rewards platform.
How Prime’s 20¢ Gas Discount Works
Prime members first need to connect their Amazon account with an earnify account. Once connected, the Friday discount breaks down like this:
- 5¢ per gallon from the standard earnify savings
- 5¢ per gallon as the ongoing Amazon Prime benefit
- 10¢ per gallon as the additional Friday promotional savings
- 20¢ per gallon total on Fridays during the promotion
The promotion is scheduled to run every Friday from October 2, 2026 through January 29, 2027. After the promotion ends, Prime members are expected to return to the regular 10¢-per-gallon total savings at participating locations.
Where Can You Use It?
The savings are available at more than 7,500 participating locations nationwide, including bp, Amoco and participating ampm and Thorntons stations.
That gives Prime members another reason to check participating stations before filling up—especially if Friday is already your normal fuel day.
How Do You Activate It?
If you haven’t already connected the two accounts, you’ll need to link your Amazon Prime account with earnify.
Once activated, Prime members can redeem eligible fuel savings by entering the phone number associated with their earnify account at the pump or using the earnify app at participating stations.
The earnify account itself is free.
How Much Could You Actually Save?
Twenty cents doesn’t sound enormous until you start multiplying it.
A 15-gallon fill-up would save about $3. Fill a 20-gallon tank and you’re looking at approximately $4.
Do that regularly throughout the roughly four-month promotion and the savings can start adding up—particularly for households with larger vehicles or multiple cars.
Of course, the smartest move is still to compare the station’s actual pump price. Saving 20 cents at one station doesn’t necessarily make it cheaper than a nearby competitor that starts with a substantially lower price.
Amazon Is Expanding Prime Beyond the Doorstep
The fuel program is another example of Amazon pushing Prime benefits beyond shipping, streaming and online shopping.
Amazon’s fuel relationship with bp and earnify already provides eligible Prime members with ongoing gas savings. The company previously offered a similar 20-cent Friday promotion earlier in 2026, when members could receive the increased discount through May 29.
Now the Friday promotion is returning for the fall and winter.
For Prime households already paying for the membership, it’s essentially another benefit sitting there waiting to be activated.
And if you’re going to fill up anyway?
Friday might be the day to do it.
